SNAP Photography Festival
SNAP takes place between 29th April - 3rd May 2019 in Somerset, UK.
QtAlbums and SNAP have been close partners for 5 years and will be back together again at Snap 2019. Over the last few years, that we have worked together, we did not only get new clients, but we got real friends! This year is going to be very special, as we will be giving SNAP a farewell it deserves. The community of people will last, but the current format of the event will not. Laura Babb, the founder of SNAP said:
Snap is set in the wilds of the UK countryside and you get stellar key note speakers (from Dan O’Day, Rafal Bojar, Polly Rusyn and more), business advice, practical shoots and tons of ideas to propel your business forward. You also get starry skies, delicious food, swimming, chats late into the night and an epic party. You get to unwind before the start of a busy season, let loose, shoot without pressure or expectation and be creative in ways that don’t always involve your camera. The Snap community is active throughout the year and to celebrate Snap 2019 some members made this tearjerker testimonial video all about what Snap means to them.
But don’t just take our word for why you should come! Junebug named Snap “one of the best photography workshops to attend in 2016, 17 and 18” and you may have heard of some of our previous speaker/attendees, here’s what they had to say:
what is snap?
Snap has been one of the best investments I've ever made, both for my business and for me personally. Not only did it help me revive my creativity, it also introduced me to some of my closest friends who I love and value so much. Even in the wider Snap community I feel there's so many amazing and genuine people who would stop to help, it's so unique to find a space where you can have support over competitiveness within an industry like ours. I'm coming to Snap 2019, hope to see you there!.
For the first time in my life, I found that missing piece. The people. YOU GUYS. To be around that many supportive, inspiring, awesome people. It goes deeper than the photography/creative/inspiring aspect, though. It gets down to the human aspect for me. So many discussions, so many stories, so many real moments spent with the lot of you. It made me realize that THESE are the people I need to be around on a regular basis. THESE are the people that I can turn to if I ever need to. THESE people are my real tribe.
What a beautiful experience; so many new friends and memories. It was a gift to be able to spend the last five days with you all, something I'll always treasure. Inspiring talks, inspiring people, hugs on tap, crackling fires, heart strings being plucked, guitar strings being plucked, brisk starry nights, warm sunsets, destroyed disco sheds, batshit-crazy-impromptu-DIY-parties, trust, home made drum kits, unicorns, empty bottles of tequila (sambuca and whisky) and full hearts.
